Heather T. Lee, APN, GCNS-BC is an advanced practice registered nurse who is board certified by the ANCC as a geriatric specialist. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with her masters degree in nursing in 1996. She began her APN career in geriatrics at the Baptist Senior Health Centers in Knoxville upon graduation. Since 2008, she has been providing primary care for home bound seniors and those living in senior living communities. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and daughter and their dogs. She is also an avid sports fan, especially all things Vols!
Medical director Whitaker Michael Smith, MD has been in practice for over 30 years as a board certified family physician. A graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, he attained his medical degree in 1988. He was an assistant professor at the UK College of Medicine from 1993-1999. He relocated to the TriCities area in Tennessee where he provided primary and hospital care for over 15 years. He currently is providing care through telemedicine. In his free time, he enjoys riding motorcycles and travel and loves Kentucky Wildcat sports.
